We have decided to either sell our small business accounting & tax practice or clients at the end of tax season or to turn it into a part-time practice and retain only those clients who fit our needs for semi –retirement. This is a great opportunity for a new or relocating practitioner to take over a business with a 30 year history and approximately $160K in business. We will consider offers from any and all respondents. Our requirements are that the person have the education and background that would lead to the successful operation of the business and no criminal background or financial problems that would put our clients at risk. We will consider any cash offer. We will offer reasonable transition assistance. One partner would be willing to work part-time and agree to extra availability in tax season, but her continued employment is not a requirement or a guarantee.
